The late Eileen Guthrie took inspiration from nature to make hand printed textiles in the 1940s-1950s with her fabric company called Flockhart Fabrics. World of Interiors magazine May 2013 featured an article on her and husband. It was refreshing to see her vintage prints and how inspiring they are for decor today. The use of geometric and nature patterns are definitely on trend in 2013.
