Polka dots became a popular print in clothing in the late nineteenth century in the UK. The pattern has continued throughout history but has become a trend over the years. It has been associated as a consistent kid's pattern but has flowed back in to the home and adult fashions. A US man went as far as painting his house in the beloved design. The Louis Vuitton Brand headed up by Marc Jacobs collaborated with Japanese Artist Yayoi Kusama to bring a cool pop up shop in London entirely in polka dots to represent the new line.
